The state of Israel, as a key actor in the Palestinian conflict, has frequently become the subject of news coverage and framing by international media. Previous research on framing has not been discussed comprehensively, especially regarding the independence of media outlets affiliated with a particular country. This study focuses on the question of how Israel is framed by jordantimes.com, a media outlet affiliated with Jordan, which also has diplomatic relations with Israel. To answer this question, the study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and Murray Edelman’s framing method, which focuses on the categorization and rubrication of media coverage. The findings of this study show that Jordan’s diplomatic relationship with Israel does not affect the independence of jordantimes.com reporting. In fact, many of the reports on jordantimes.com portray Israel as an international criminal actor and an occupying state. The context can be seen through the categorizatio of Israel as an international criminal actor that has committerd genocide dan organized crimes. The, Israel is labeled as a colonial state that has seized Palestinian territorial land and iolated international lawa regulations.
